It is as unusual a combination as you can get: professional wrestler and professional stand up comic. Scott Heim does them both, and does them well. A two time heavyweight champion of the Empire State Wrestling League, Scott has been in the ring with Mick Foley, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jimmy Hart, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Kamala and The Honky Tonk Man. Scott started doing comedy in 1997, and now works the comedy circuit full time. Sharing the stage with comedians such as Bob Nelson, Rich Vos, Mike Dambra and Jim Florentine, Scott’s style and skill is as hard hitting as any pro wrestling show. Citing the comedic influences of John Ritter, Bill Cosby and Red Skelton, Scott has taken the timing and precision learned in the ring and turned it into a finely crafted comedy show. Scott’s offstage talents include scriptwriting for numerous New York State wrestling promotions and film acting. Scott starred as “The Shadow Creature” in the aptly named feature film Shadow Creature.

I see over 100 comics a year. They are all good, else they wouldn't be at my club. Scott is the real comedy deal. He is the next comic superstar. You hear of all kinds of labels for comics: Prop comic, high energy comic, cerebral comic. Scott does a little bit of everything, making him the most well rounded comic I have ever seen. Scott Heim is so funny you may actually remember his name when you talk to friends and co-workers about the show!
